Cormorant Lutheran youth in grades 7-9 gather each Wednesday evening in the Fellowship Hall during the school year for Confirmation classes led by Pastor and Tracy, Coordinator of Youth & Family Education Ministries.

Confirmation families take turns providing the meal for the youth each week.  The meal is served at 6pm each week and classes conclude by 7:30pm.

After a time of fellowship and reconnection with each other, youth participate in a group lesson and then split into small groups for more discussion.

​

During Lent, youth are mentored by adults in the church, extending the number of caring adults that help in a youth's faith formation beyond their immediate family.

​

Youth are confirmed after their ninth grade year, and celebrate the day by sharing their faith verse and faith journey with the congregation.
