Cormorant Lutheran youth in grades 7-9 gather each Wednesday evening in the Fellowship Hall during the school year for Confirmation classes led by Pastor Wade Dutton.

Confirmation families take turns providing the meal for the youth each week.  The meal is served at 6pm each week and classes conclude by 7:30pm.

After a time of fellowship and reconnection with each other, youth participate in a group lesson and then split into small groups for more discussion.

​

During Lent, youth are mentored by adults in the church, extending the number of caring adults that help in a youth's faith formation beyond their immediate family.

​

Youth are confirmed after their ninth grade year, and celebrate the day by sharing their faith verse and faith journey with the congregation.
